He was born in Athens. He studied German Literature at the German Language and Literature Department of the University of Athens from 2004-2008. From 2010-2012 he pursued additional postgraduate study in the Didactics of teaching German as foreign language at the Hellenic Open University. At the same time he undertook postgraduate studies in the German Language and Literature Department at the University of Athens, with specialization in German Literature and earned the postgraduate diploma with the award of a degree “With Honours”. Since March 2014 he is a PhD candidate in the same Department and his research field is Comparative Literature. He is currently working on his dissertation that aims to explore and analyse the cultural, semiotic dimensions of ferries in the 19th century literature.
His research interests include literary theory, critical and spatial theories, German and European literature of the 19th and 20th century. Since 2012 he participates in the research project THALES 'CHRYSALLIS" with project and scientific coordinator Prof. Tabaki. Recent publications and presentations: "A Passage to India. The image of India in in nineteenth century Greek periodicals” (2015), “Kafka in Griechenland” (2015).
