Katerina Diakoumopoulou is an expert in Theatrology, with undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Department of Theatre Studies of the University of Athens. In 2007 she was appointed distinguished Doctor of the Panteio University after having completed a dissertation on the Greek Theatre of New York. Since 2007 she has been teaching Theatrology at the Department of Music Science and Art at the University of Macedonia (Greece). In 2007 she was awarded with a Public Award for the New Best Theatrical Writer by the Ministry of Culture and in 2008 she was awarded by UNESCO for her theatrical work.
