She holds a Degree in French, Italian and English Literature (Ca’Foscari University, Venice, Italy) and a PhD in Comparative Literature (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). She has taught “Modern Greek and Literature” in the Department of Modern Greek and Byzantine Studies of Padua University, Italy, and “Literary Translation” in the Inter-departmental Postgraduate Master Program in Translation & Translation Studies of the University of Athens. She is teaching as a member of the Specialized Teaching Staff of the Department of Theatre Studies, University of Peloponnese (theory and critique of theatrical translation, history and dramatology of the universal theatre: 17th-18th century, feminine presences/absences in avant-gardes, foreign theatrical terminology) and “History of European Literature” in the Hellenic Open University. Her scientific articles, with themes such as comparative literature and translation, have been published in Greek and international scientific magazines. She has translated 18 French and Italian literary books and she has edited many scientific and literary books. Her research interests focus in translation subjects, in the 19th century French, Italian and Greek literary relations, in the 20th century avant-gardes (with emphasis on surrealism), in the francophone and the surrealist women writers. She is co-writing the following academic e-books: (Callipos action): History and Dramatology of the European theatre: Renaissance - 18th century and Theory and History of the literary species and genres.
